We went to preschool open house today. Skyler and Spencer (and Lee and I) got to see where Skyler & Spencer will be spending their Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. We also got to meet their teachers; Sandy and Tina. Tina is expecting a baby in November so that’s exciting. Skyler will be so happy if she brings the baby in after he/she is born. They have lots of activities for the kids to play with and different stations around the room. Skyler really liked the dress up area. They had lots of purses and big shirts to put on plus a full child-sized kitchen. Spencer loved the playground. Hopefully they will enjoy the learning as much as the playing. I’m really excited for them to start school. And they can’t wait. Tonight when I put them to bed Spencer asked, “When I wake up tomorrow will I get to go to school?”

Today was also Lee’s first day back to school. But he’s used to it. He was just there this summer. So he’s an old pro at this (sorry honey…didn’t mean to say “old”). We are so proud of Lee for sticking to this whole college thing. He’ll probably get his degree before me at this rate.
