You Can Find It All On eBay
Seriously, what is wrong with people? First, this person actually picked up some nasty, saliva filled, chewed up BRITNEY SPEARS used chewing gum. Then this same person photographed this filthy, teeth marked gum and placed it in a plastic bag to preserve it so she/he could make a few bucks on eBay.
What’s even worse is the bidding is up to 1,040 British Pounds (that’s around $1800 or $1900 American Dollars) and there is still almost four days left?! What is wrong with people?? Are you going to have that gum authenticated should you win the bidding war? Gonna take it down to the local science lab and have it tested for DNA? Maybe snag a piece of Britney’s hair from the booth at the last restaurant she ate at so you can use it for comparison? I bet you could get a pretty penny for that strand of hair on eBay.
eBay has turned perfectly sane people in to raving, celebrity crazed, lunatics. It’s gum people. Chewed up, spit out gum. Do you want some of my nasty chewed up gum? I don’t even like to touch the gum I make my kids spit out at bedtime. YUCK! With a capital Y-U-C-K!
And then complete idiots try and follow suit. There’s Christina Aguilera’s Used Gum and another piece of Britney’s Used Gum. Starting bid on both of those pieces of memorabilia is $100. Huh?!? One Hundred Dollars for a chewed up piece of $.10 gum?? Gum that you really have no way of ever knowing that it actually even came out of that stars mouth. And I can pretty much guarantee you that if you took that piece of gum up to Christina Aguilera and said “Hey, I got yer gum,” she would think you are a psycho rather then an adoring fan. Owning chewed up gum does not get you any closer to your favorite celebrities. It could however make your friends rethink their friendship with you. Think about it…
