As you know, Keaton’s school holiday party was today. I swear his teacher told me it started at 2:20. And I was even 10 minutes early, getting there at 2:10. I know….me early?!? But it turns out I was late. Keaton said they actually started the party at 1:40. So even when I’m early I’m late.

I stopped at Hy-Vee and picked up some peppermint sugar cookies [see previous posts from yesterday if you don't know why]. The smores bars turned out ok after all. They just needed some time to cool down and harden. So the kids got to enjoy peppermint cookies and smores bars with their movie.

Before we left for the year (Keaton thinks that’s awesome that we got to say “see you next year” as we were leaving), Keaton had me take a picture of him and some of his friends. So here it is…
