Spencer got to bring Oscar home from school on Monday. Oscar is a puppet the kids get to bring home for two days. They brought home Penelope first and now they each get to bring Oscar home. The kids are supposed to have their mom or dad take a picture of them with Oscar and then we write in Oscar’s journal. Then when they go back to school, their teacher reads the journal aloud to the class so they can all hear about their adventures with Oscar.

So last night Oscar slept with Spencer for his last night at our house. This morning we were running late [I know, us running late?!? Never!] and I told Spencer to get Oscar and get in the car. But Spencer couldn’t find Oscar. He wasn’t in bed. He wasn’t in his room. Spencer came walking down the hallway and he goes “Oscar is missing and everybody is a suspect.” I was cracking up.

You’ll be happy to know, we found Oscar at the kitchen table. Apparently he hadn’t gotten up from breakfast yet.
