This afternoon we were riding along in our automobile and Spencer was talking about what he and Skyler were going to do for their birthday. Their birthday in October. Nothing like planning ahead.

So anyway, he said “were not going to [gaming place].”

And Lee said, “No, you aren’t going there. You’re not old enough yet.”

Spencer goes, “I know. I said we aren’t going there. We are going to [playground place]. Me and Skyler already discussed it.”

Now in print saying “so and so already discussed it” makes perfect sense. But you had to be there. To hear my six-year-old say “we discussed it” was hilarious. Who knew he knew these big words? He’s constantly surprising me with his vocabulary.
