She is in to Italian food. Me - I don't care as long as there's food. Red Robin was an excellent choice! They have recently opened a Red Robin in the area and we frequent that more than the nearby Fuddrucker's. Don't stop going out for your anniversary! When the kids are young, there's all kinds of drama. As they get older (teens), there's less drama but you don't necessarily want to leave them for other reasons. And finally, when they are all out of the house (like ours) you find yourself actually missing the stunts they pulled! For our anniversary, the wife likes to go to Olive Garden. My husband and I went through a string of bad luck on dates. It seemed that every time we tried to go out for a nice dinner, just the two of us, they would mess up his food. Your plans for time with the hubs sound a lot like mine, only mine usually end in an "emergency" call from work, or a sick child. I swear.. they wait.. like vultures, until they KNOW we have plans.. and then they run to all of their friends with germs begging for donations. Yikes!
