Love notes

Caleb was writing me love notes early today. Of course, he’s in kindergarten and doesn’t really know how to write many words yet, so his love notes were more like scribbles. But love notes nonetheless.

He read each note to me as he handed them to to me.

The first note said, “I love you.”

The second note said, “I love you forever and ever.”

The third note said, “If you die tomorrow can I have your Skittles?” And he included a “yes” checkbox. Which he checked. [I should note that he did not include a "no" checkbox.]

  1. Aw, they are cute at this age, huh? My son is in Kindergarten too, and while he doesn’t write ME many notes, he always has a letter or two written for when Dad walks in the door at the end of the day.
His last one said “Mom and Dad do you like turtles?”

    Good stuff!
