A little pathetic begging
A while back I created a MySpace profile to keep track of Keaton and Justis. Their profiles are set to private (since they are teens) so the only way I could peek in on them was to create my profile. I was going happily about my day, rarely logging on to MySpace and life was good.
But then Lee created his own MySpace profile too. And all of his friends found it and befriended him. Then people he went to high school with found him and befriended him. Next thing I knew he had all these friends and I had Lee, Justis and Keaton.
It stung a little bit to see all of Lee’s friends taunting me in his friends list. I started to feel a little bad that I don’t have any friends. I want friends. I like friends.
So it became a competition. I WILL have more friends than Lee.
This is where my pathetic begging comes in. Do you have a MySpace profile? Do you want to be my friend? I’ll give you a cookie. Help me beat Lee in the friends department.

You can also find me on Facebook, but honestly Facebook confuses me. Justis keeps sending me these things like a vampire bite and whatever else. I have no clue what the heck that is. I’m clearly Facebook illiterate.
Trying to keep up with these kids is wearing me out.

OMG - I totally do NOT get Facebook either! I signed up because a guy at work wanted me to find him out there in Facebook land and my only two friends there are him and you (Christine). I don’t understand any of the stuff he sends me - all these quizzes and grafetti and Super Wall postings and my heads spins. I told him I cannot keep up with him. I will have to try MySpace and I’ll definitely be your friend. I’m intrigued about Lee’s high school friends since we graduated the same year from the same school. There aren’t many from our class on Facebook - none I care to link with anyway! HA.
