Reason #4826 why I love my husband
It is super cold out today. Not just cold, but super duper wuper cold. It’s around -11 degrees outside. Which isn’t quite as cold as yesterday’s -23 or last Thursday’s -33, but cold nontheless.
My van was low on gas. It was under an eighth of a tank and my little gas pump light was on. But it’s cold out and I didn’t really feel like standing outside at the gas station waiting for gas to pump in to my car.
Without me even asking Lee said, “Do you want me to follow you up to the gas station and pump your gas for you?”
And that’s just what he did. I sat in my warm car listening to the radio while Lee braved the whiping winds and freezing temperatures, filling my car up with gasoline.
But it didn’t end there. He also washed my back window for me. Now that’s true love people.

Aw, that IS true love!

So, you’re seriously considering keeping him, right? For, like, a long time?

We used to live in the cold and my husband would do stuff like that. Now we live in the sun so all he has to do is take the garbage out.
I suppose that is love, too.
Yes, I would have to agree that is love. The truest.
Today, I felt the same way about Big Daddy. But he didn’t pump my gas, he brought me a chocolate milkshake that I was craving. And I drank. For dinner.
I’d love the picture of Drew that you captured the other day. Whenever you get a chance. Maybe then I would feel less guilty about not being there.

Ok, I love your husband too. I absolutely HATE pumping gas when it is cold out. What a sweet thing to offer.
5 stars for him!!

Awww! Now my husband may not be the most romantic, but he probably would have woke up before me, trekked to the gas station to fill up my tank, and brought it back to me all nice and toasty warm, probably with a nice, cold Mountain Dew waiting.
Aren’t they nice when they want something?
Men may not get flowers, gifts, or household services, but damn, they do a great job at things like this!

How thoughtful! My boyfriend has been starting my car for me so it warms up and defrosts the thin layer of frost in the mornings for me, since I’ve been working a lot. It means more to me than any roses, wine, or chocolates any day!
