Sunday Linky Love

Hey, did you know the Super Bowl was last Sunday? And the Giants beat the Patriots. The undefeated Patriots. Yeah, it rocked. Don’t worry if you missed it. Bloggers have your back. Chag at Cynical Dad was to sick to party, so instead he live blogged the Super Bowl. [Hope you're feeling better Chag.] Bossy gave us the play-by-play of her Super Bowl party. All About the Mother of ‘Em shared some recipes, her favorite commercial and a little about football in her post. Metalia tells us why she loves football. And over at No Pasa Nada is the best shot ever of the Super Bowl champs.

On the anniversary of Ava’s death, we are reminded about the dangers of children and cars in the hot months. It’s such a heartbreaking story and it could happen to any of us.

This explains a lot. This is my new excuse for being forgetful. I don’t care that it’s been more than five years since I had a baby.

I can completely sympathize with Zoey’s mom. We’ve had several moments of the “My hair was in my eyes so I cut it” fiasco.

I cracked up when I read about how Busy Dad’s son talked finances at school. It reminded me of a comment Keaton made to his teacher quite a few years ago about us not having any money. Out of the mouth’s of babes. I guess you need to watch it when you’re at the store and you tell you kids, “No, I don’t have any cash for you to get candy.”

There’s a new edition to the Sundry Mourning family. Welcome to the very handsome Dylan Emmett. Congrats Linda and family.

Speaking of new babies, DaniGirl over at Postcards from the Mothership gave birth to a 10 pound 1 ounces baby boy. WITHOUT AN EPIDURAL. She so needs an award for that. Congrats!

Twist & Skewer has a great post about friendship from a mom’s point-of-view. She also speaks of living with a teenager Seems pretty accurate to me.

Do you shop at Whole Foods? Or are you just looking to save the environment? Here is a list of great places to get grocery totes to take to the store instead of using those plastic sacks.
