One kid picked two days, the other picked two days and we'd eat out on Fridays. It was GREAT! I always knew what I was making when I got home and could shop in advance too. We also had one item that could be the alternate if someone didn't like what the other picked...something like they could then make themselves a ham sandwich. We really need to start doing that again.
