Skyler is very creative. She loves to write and perform her own songs, choreograph her own dance performances, draw anything, make cards for loved ones, design outfits for her barbie dolls. If it’s creative she loves it.

One of her favorites is making her own jewelry. Last night the teens were off doing their thing and Lee was at a car auction, so it was just me and the three little ones (who aren’t exactly little anymore now at five- and eight-years-old). Skyler was working on a necklace for dad so we all decided to join her and work on our pieces. I made this patriotic bracelet for myself while helping Caleb string his beads on his own bracelet. I love spending this quality time with the kids. I don’t do it nearly as much as I should and I need to work on that. So now I’m wearing this bracelet to remind me to do just that. They grow up too fast. Television and internet surfing can wait.
