Hiding from sex

The kids and I were watching Forrest Gump earlier when it got to the part where Jenny and Forrest have sex. The scene is actually very tame. It just shows the two of them kissing really.

Jokingly I said, “Close your eyes.” All three of the little kids plastered their hands over their eyes.

Caleb took it one step further. He jumped off the couch and ran behind it to hide, where he then proceeded to say, “Is it over yet?” over and over until it was indeed over.

If only I could convince them to keep hiding from sex until they are married adults. Somehow I don’t think I’ll be that lucky.

You just gave me a flashback. My mom and dad use to do that all the time, even when people barely touched.

I’ll probably end up doing the same thing with my kid.

    I love it.

When Big Daddy gives me my little kiss every morning before leaving for work, the kids are usually at the table. EVERY SINGLE MORNING, when he kisses me they cover their eyes and yell, “IT BURNS!”

The title of your post grabbed my attention…I didn’t know if you hid in the closet, under your bed… How funny! We usually just change the channel or try to distract the kids somehow, but they’re younger and we can still get away with it. Yep, I’d love to figure out how to keep them hiding!!!
