Love Thursday: Music

There are so many things I love about Skyler, but one of those things is her creativity. Put her in a room with a pad of paper and some markers and you won’t hear from her all day. But when you check on her she will have filled that notebook with beautiful pictures and be being ear to ear with pride over her artwork.

She also loves to dance. Three years ago I finally (stopped procrastinating and) signed her up for dance classes. She started with tap and ballet. Last year she added funky jazz. And this year she had added lyrical. Four dances classes in one night. And she loves it.

And she loves music. Two Christmases ago she begged for a guitar. And her Grandma O delivered. Since then the guitar has seen better days. It’s currently missing a couple of strings. I have replacements I just need to find the time (and figure out how) to replace them. But Skyler still loves that guitar.
