Sunday Linky Love: Election Edition
So, did you hear we had an election here in the States last week?
Backerella reminded us to vote with patriotic cupcake pops. She makes the most amazing things in that kitchen of hers. I can’t even make chocolate chip cookies without burning the bottoms of at least a dozen of them.
Before the election, Neil explains how Wednesday will go depending on who wins. Too funny!
Angel was in Grant Park the night of the election.
Jenni asks us to listen to Obama and McCain and unite together as one nation. Be sure to read the comments too. Very good discussion.
Matthew wrote a letter to his little ones about the significance of Obama’s win.
Karen shares why Obama’s election affected her so deeply.
I’m not the only one ranting about the ridiculous Prop 8 in California.
Or the only one pissed that that it passed.
Like Rebecca said, how can we take one giant step forward by electing Obama and one giant step back by discriminating in California?
Backpacking Dad talks about the next step in the fight against Prop 8.
In other news…
Sarah had the sex talk with Ian…again.
I’m so glad we never had to go through the acorn-in-the-nose experience with any of our kids.
Y brought me to tears with this post about her son missing his grandpa.
Scribbit’s having her monthly Write-Away contest. It might be a good idea for a NaBloPoMo post. Plus you could win a year’s supply of Suave products.
Jennifer is celebrating her blogiversary with a bunch of giveaways. So head over and sign up.
