Who knew Caleb was such a know-it-all

Caleb BEGGED us to let him go out for wrestling this year. After we spent Spencer’s first year in wrestling with him in tears basically the whole time, we were a little leary about going through that all over again. Spencer just didn’t love wrestling as much as he thought he would. But Caleb was so instant so we gave in and signed him up.

Here we are three months later and Caleb is throwing a fit every time we tell him to “go get ready for wrestling practice.” It’s not that he doesn’t like wrestling. He has a lot of fun when he’s there. But he’s usually “busy” when we tell him to get ready. He’s busy watching some program on Nick Jr. or hanging out with the neighbor boy or playing video games. Usually it’s video games.

Tonight Lee had had enough of the whining. He told Caleb, “That’s it. I’m going to get rid of all the video games.”

Caleb didn’t miss a beat. He said, “Fine. Then you’ll have to get rid of your Wii too.”

That kid is sharp as a whip.
