Her bandage was ripped off quickly. The hardest part is telling the first person. With each additional person, it gets easier. Each telling stings but the stings became less painful. Imagine if everyone — EVERYONE — knew at once and you didn't have to have The Conversation one-on-one each time. I'm still telling people of my divorce. Do you think CNN could run a crawler for me? I'm done reliving the experience. I want everyone to know and for it to be over.
