Hangin’ Tough at the NKOTB concert
I Remember When we used to tease up our bangs and plaster them with half a can of Aqua Net. We wore stirrup pants with big sweaters, or acid washed jeans rolled up tightly at the ankle, and Keds shoes with no shoelaces. And we were in love with New Kids on the Block.

That was the 80’s and I’m a Big Girl Now. But that doesn’t mean I don’t still want to be an NKOTB Cover Girl. Jordan, Donnie, Joey, Danny and Jonathan may have changed their name to NKOTB, but they’ve still got The Right Stuff.

Thursday night a few friends and I got our 80’s on and headed to Moline for the NKOTB concert. We left our stirrups behind and opted for straight hair instead of mall bangs, but we did dance Step by Step and maybe even did a little DIrty Dancing. And, of course, we whipped out our cameras and went Click, Click, Click. [Although I'm pissed that I left my camera at home and only had my cell phone for photo ops. The ticket said "NO CAMERAS" so like an idiot I obliged. Thankfully one of my friends smuggled her camera in and got some great shots.]

We may be getting older, but we were still Hangin’ Tough, even on a work night. And, even though I didn’t go to bed until 2 in the Morning, it was well worth it. We had a blast. And NKOTB can Sexify My Love any time.

I went back in October with a bunch of friends. We had such a great time!!! I didn’t really understand why a bunch of 30+ women would CHOOSE to wear stirrup pants and the off the shoulder tee shirt with belt and tights…you know what I’m talking about.
It was a ton of fun, though. I never got to see the group when I was a teenager, so I acted like one that night!!
