Drunk Driving and the [almost] Single Guy

Skyler and I were on the way home from [a very expensive cookie ingredient shopping adventure at] Target when a commercial came on the radio. It was reminding us to be smart during the holiday season and not drink and drive.

Skyler goes, “Mom, sometimes Dad drinks and drives.”

I began to panic a little bit. When the hell was Lee drinking and driving with our daughter in the car? I’m going to kill him. But instead of being frantic I calming asked, “He does?”

“Yeah, he does. And if you drink a whole bottle of Root Beer you get drunk.”

I started to laugh. I guess the radio needs to be a little more specific about what you can and can’t drink when you drive.
